Germinal was terminated within a two months period. The piece was worked on daily for two hours. At the beginning, Germinal was just a tiny bit of fabric wrapped in wire. Each session, the pieces went larger; other elements such as beeswax, encaustic paint, textiles, beads, and artificial flowers were added to it. The objective was to generate a living form that made reference to the heart. The beauty this piece aimed to since the beginning was that comes within life and the living. The illumination of this piece is key to contemplate the secrets it contains.
