Enjambre was begun during May 2004 in San Francisco, and finished in México City on april 2005. In San Francisco, separate cells were created. At that point the final structure and /or function of the piece was not clear. Mexico City, when lying in the studio floor, it was clear that the piece was to defy gravity. The cells were attached together by sewing and, also, by the twisting of wires. These started to become less in number the higher the piece got. At the end, Enjambre was only hanging from one wire.
